BJP Lok Sabha MP and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday described the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal as “a carbon copy of communists” and “the most humiliating politician” in India’s history.
“I saw Kejriwal before returning from Delhi to Tripura in 2014 and recognized his type. I came from a kingdom that the communists ruled for decades, and I could tell that he (Kejriwal) was one of them carbon copy (communist). Who took the board examination at BR Ambedkar High School in Kamalasagar in Sipahjala district.
Attacking Kejriwal, Deb said that the politics of the former Chief Minister of Delhi is based on betrayal and deception, claiming that no other politician has lied and spread negativity like him.
Deb did not leave the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, either the Leader of the Opposition. “Those who want to dream, they (Prime Minister) will become like Narendra Modi. Those who only see their mothers will become like Rahul Gandhi. I dreamed of becoming the Chief Minister of Tripura and did so. In 2014, I wanted to give a challenge to Kejriwal, and I recently got that opportunity.
Deb linked the culture of dishonesty and betrayal in Indian society with the arrival of the Islamic rulers, saying that India had no tradition to lie and cheat before their arrival. He said, “It started only after the arrival of Muslim rulers from Middle East to India, and they lied, betrayal and cheated to them. All these things have never happened in India,” he said.
Talking about his recent visit to Australia, he compared the social behavior of Australians and Indians. He said that when Australians are well -run, disciplined and true, they often lead a mechanical lifestyle and may lack general knowledge than Indians.
