The Crime Investigation Department of Jharkhand on Saturday arrested two prominent accused in the Bokaro One and Revenue Land scam worth Rs 100 crore, which included the sale of government land using fake documents.
The suspects have been identified as Izer Hussain and Akhtar Hussain, who have been accused of illegally selling 103 acres of forest and revenue land in Bokaro in 2012. He has been sent to judicial custody.
According to senior officials, this is the first time “Chief Conspirators” was arrested. “Yes, they are the ones who have allegedly made all fake documents, on the basis of which the land was to be transferred to him,” Jharkhand DGP Anurag Gupta confirmed the arrest. “This is a very old issue, but for the first time, the people behind it have been arrested.”
According to CID, both suspects were created In 2012, illegally appear in his name, But the mutation was canceled in 2016. In 2018, the Jharkhand High Court stayed the order to cancel the DC, but directed the parties to contact a civil court for a title suit.
Meanwhile, Izhar and Akhtar removed “fraud” from the banned land list, then allegedly made a fake auction document in 1933 and transferred the land’s power of attorney to Patna businessman, which eventually “sold” to a company with his wife director.

Allegedly investigation revealed that a fake 1933 auction document and no objection certificate (NOC) were allegedly used in transactions. According to officials, two companies were involved in the alleged deal and the land changed a few days after the money was transferred to the seller’s account.
An FIR was registered in the case in 2024. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate, which is also investigating the alleged scam, discovered 16 places in April in Jharkhand and Bihar. In the printed places, there was a campus of one of the two companies along with some government offices.
