Former Judge of Delhi High Court Yashwant Verma, who is currently facing an impeachment motion after discovering the currency notes at his official residence in the national capital, has shifted the Supreme Court, The Indian Express Have you learnt.

With the argument that the findings of the report are without any procedure and inadequate, Justice Verma has learned to question every resulting action flowing from the report, including the recommendation of CGI.
The case is likely to be heard next week. Meanwhile, Parliament is also likely to initiate a proposal to remove in the beginning of next week. According to the constitutional provisions dealing with the removal of the investigation of a judge and judges, Parliament will have to set up a new panel to investigate the allegations against Justice Verma.
