The CBI on Saturday discovered seven places in Bihar and Jharkhand, which was allegedly executed by claiming GST through fake export bills, regarding the scam of 100 million. Officials said that five customs officers including Additional Commissioner GST, Patna have been nominated for fraud.
The CBI discovered at two places in Patna, two in Purnia, and one -one in Jamshedpur, Nalanda and Munger, searching for gold seven times, each weighs 100 grams, he said.
This was a scam when the abnormal growth in tiles and automobile parts exports in Nepal was seen in Land Customs Stations (LCS) during 2022-23 in Jayanagar, Bhimnagar and Bhitmore.
According to the CBI FIR, about 30 exporters have been named it, who have been accused of showing fake exports of tiles and automobile spare parts from three LCS to get tax return from the GST office.
It has been alleged that four Customs Superintendents – Neeraj Kumar and Manmohan Sharma in Jayanagar, and Tarun Kumar Sinha and Rajiv Ranjan Sinha in Bhimnagar collided with Additional Commissioner Ranvijay Kumar, who in exchange for bribery, to return tax against fake export claims.
All officers, with 30 suspected exporters, and a Kolkata-based clearing agent, Ganga Singh, have been nominated as an accused in the FIR.
The agency has alleged that the fake export bills were created for less than 10 lakhs, which is the highest amount which is allowed to clean the Customs Superintendent.

The CBI FIR alleged that, in all, fake exports to the tune of `800 crores were shown with goods carrying GST duties of 28% and 18% by these superintendents, two high GST slabs, which enabled them to claim almost 100 million refunds.
The investigation also revealed that the firms were not working with their registered address.
Unusual growth in exports was allegedly ignored by Rannvijay Kumar, who gave “oral instructions” to the superintendents to process the export order (LEO) in relation to shipping bills.
In addition, he allegedly passed details of fake exports to be processed on these LCs or through Ganga Singh, the CBI said.
