Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “murder”, claiming that the people of the country would not allow BJP and RSS to change it.
He was addressing a mega convention organized by the Government of Karnataka, where development works worth more than Rs 2,500 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones for Mysuru.
“BJP and RSS are talking about amending or re -writing in the Constitution. You can try how much you ever want, people of this country will not allow you to change the constitution. If you (people) allow them to change the constitution, you will not have any right,” Kharge warned the meeting.
“Modi, AAP became the Chief Minister and Prime Minister because of the Constitution, you bowed to the Constitution before entering Parliament, but Modi is killing the same constitution today.” “BJP and RSS are trying to remove this constitution every day,” he said.
During his address, Kharge also hit the PM to visit 42 countries, but not a struggle-hit Manipur.

Chief Minister Siddaramah, Deputy CM DK Shivkumar and several ministers of the state government were present at the event.
