Cyber ​​Crime: CBI flags lack of investigation in many states. Bharat News

The CBI has been told to a parliamentary panel that many states do not agree to investigate cases, which makes the agency challenging to investigate cyber crime cases.

CBI officials were called to hold a meeting of the Standing Committee on home affairs on Thursday, which was chaired by BJP Rajya Sabha member Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal.

The agenda of the meeting was to listen to ministries and organizations on ‘Cyber ​​Crime – Impact, Protection and Prevention’.

Others called by the panel were officers of the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Financial Intelligence Unit-India and NIA.

It is learned that MEA officials said that cyber crimes have also been committed from abroad. He referred to the process for extradition of persons accused of cyber crimes.

The NIA has said that it is currently investigating five cyber crime cases.
