Amid the growing political line on the arrest of a 22-year-old law student and influential person Sharmisha Panoli, actor-consenting Kangana Ranaut has strongly criticized the West Bengal government led by Mamata Banerjee. Urked the immediate release of Panoli, Ranaut condemned his arrest as a political overlapping task.
Ranaut told reporters, “It is not good to disturb anyone in the name of law and order. When someone apologized and removed the post, but put him in jail, torturing him, ending his career and questioning his character is very wrong,” Ranaut told reporters.
In comparison, Ranaut said, “I urge the West Bengal government not to try to make the state in North Korea. Everyone has democratic rights. He has apologized for his vulgar remarks. He said that everything usually uses everything and today’s generation uses such language- both English and Hindi.”

BJP’s opposition leader Suvandu Adhikari resonated similar feelings. “When TMC MP Mahua Motra made derogatory remarks against Goddess Kali, was any action taken? Even after 200 FIRs? Sayani Ghosh posted about Maha Dev, and had no results,” the lawyer accused.
Panoli has been sent to judicial custody till 13 June. While social media platforms were filled with calls for justice, Panoli also faced a wave of dangers and trolling, inspiring him to remove the post and apologize publicly.
