The CBI has filed a charge sheet against Shubam Shocain, a law officer in the Visa department of the French Embassy here, three members of his family and four others have arranged the Shingen visa for the applicants of Punjab in exchange for money.
CBI is looking for Shokeen, which is understood to have fled the country.
A CBI spokesperson said: “We have filed a charge sheet against the kiln of Shubam Shokan, his wife Aarti Chaudhary, his father Samandar Singh and his brother Abhishek Shokan, two visa agents: Balvinder Singh Bartia and Preetpal Singh, and two Midilan: Jashp Singh and Bhavna to the furnace.
