PM Modi visit Bihar on July 18: With a look at the Bihar assembly elections scheduled this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has intensified many infrastructure and efforts to inaugurate and launch development projects with the aim of promoting the state’s economy and addressing long -lasting public demands. The term of the current Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end in November.

On July 18 (Friday), PM Modi will visit Bihar to visit Bohar, inaugurate and dedicate several development projects of more than Rs 7,200 crore in Motihari. According to the available details, PM Modi will also address a public function.

Railway infrastructure

Automatic signaling on Bhatni-Chhapra Gramin Rail Line (114 km) to enable streamlined train operations. Upgradation of traction system in Bhatni-Chhapra Gramin section to enable high train speed by strengthening the infrastructure of traction system and optimizing energy efficiency.

The price of the Darbhanga-Narkanganj railway line doubling project is about Rs 4,080 crore, which enables the operation of more passenger and freight trains to increase the sectional capacity, strengthens connectivity between North Bihar and the rest of the country.

It is also scheduled to inaugurate India’s new Software Technology Park (STPI) facility in Darbhanga to promote the state and ITES/ESDM industry and startups of STPI art incubation facility in PATNA to promote IT/Its/ESDM industry and startups. These facilities will help increase IT software and service exports.

Fisheries/Aquatic Agricultural Area

PM will inaugurate a series of fisheries development projects approved under Prime Minister Matya Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). It will mark the launch of modern fish infrastructure including new fish hatchery, bioflok units, decorative fish cultivation, integrated aquatic agricultural units and fish feed mills in various districts in Bihar.

Dendayal antyodaya yojna- National Rural Livelihood Mission

Later in the day, the PM will release about 61,500 self-help groups in Bihar under the Den Dayayal Antyodai Yojna-National Rural Livelihood Mission (Day-NRLM). With special attention to women leading development, more than 10 million women have been linked to self-help groups (SHGS).

Prime Minister Avasa Yojana-Gramin

He will also hand over some beneficiaries as a part of Griha admission of 12,000 beneficiaries and release more than Rs 180 crore to 100,000 beneficiaries to 40,000 beneficiaries of Prime Minister Avasa Yojana-Gramin.
