US President Donald is ready as Trump Asim Munir, the head of Pakistan Army for lunch, hosted At the White House, the Congress on Wednesday tried to corner to the government, saying that it was a “triple shock” for the Indian foreign policy and “still has become a big challenge for us to treat America”.
Lunch will be held at 1 pm (local time) in the cabinet room of the White House.
In a statement, in -charge of Congress communication, Jairam Ramesh said, “Understand ‘Triple Jhatka’ that Indian Foreign Policy and Diplomacy have been received. Today Field Marshal Asim Munir, whose stimulant, fire and inflammatory comments are directly related to the Pahlgam terror attacks.”
Ramesh said that the invitation for Munir “is a blow to Indian diplomacy” and “We are calm about it, and have not objected to it”.
He said, “Second, General Michael Kurila, who is the head of the US Central Command, says that Pakistan is an unprecedented partner in terrorism-discipline. We are saying that Pakistan is an unprecedented criminal,” he said.
“From May 10, 14 -time President Trump claims that he meditated a ceasefire, he used business as a tool, and he kept Pakistan and India together. PM was silent. It was the third blow. It was not counters. Today, we were told that he had a 35 -minute phone call with President Trump, and he said that he said that the foreign secretary has been a single thing.”
Repeating the demand of the Congress for a special session to discuss after the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, Ramesh said, “Call a special session of Parliament. Call an all-party meeting tomorrow and say the same things that you have told President Trump on the phone. Why is the Prime Minister silent on such important issues?”

“We want a debate in Parliament; we want a creative debate; we want an all-party meeting. We want to show unity and solidarity on this issue. Treating China, treating Pakistan and still behaving with America has become a big challenge for us. If you don’t want to do a special session, then 2-3 days debate,” he said.
Ramesh mentioned that after the Kargil War with Pakistan, the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government established a Kargil review committee headed by K. Subrahmanyam, which was reported in Parliament on 23 February 2000.
“It saw the whole issue why Kargil became, what lessons we learned, and what steps we were taken in the future. We want a similar exercise. Make a comprehensive evaluation. What happened after Pahgam? What happened during Operation Sindoor?” He asked.
