Funds to upgrade homes, training on host hosts - Chhattisgarh has a new homestay policy. Bharat News

To upgrade their homes, Chhattisgarh grant forests, rivers, hills, lakes, or heritage sites offer, to host guests and train them to simplify the registration of the houses – these are one of the major incentives that Vishnu DO Sai Cabinet of the state has approved as part of his new homestand.

Vishnu Dev Sai Cabinet approved on Wednesday, the objective of the policy is to promote tourism in Chhattisgarh.

“The policy aims to promote tourism in the villages, especially in the remote areas of Bastar and Surguja. It will provide a unique experience of local culture, art, crafts and nature,” said an official.

Under this scheme, people living in villages can offer some rooms “not only gives tourists to help you experience the beauty and culture of rural Chhattisgarh, but also the local families a good earning opportunity”.

A grant of up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided to help upgrade in homes. Those running the house will also get training to learn ways to host guests from the government. The scheme also proposes registration and licensing simple and resting tax and regulation rules.

Celebration offer

“This policy is especially designed to empower women and youth, which helps them to become self -sufficient. Also, it will help spread the culture, food, language and traditional lifestyle of Chhattisgarh for people in the country and even abroad,” said an official.

To promote art and culture in Chhattisgarh, 10 acres of land will be allotted free to the culture department in New Raipur to set up a ‘Kalagram’ – a center for artisans, folk artists and traditional craftsmen.

Other important decisions are a national level archery academy in New Raipur. To be established on 13.47 acres of land, the academy will have both outdoor and indoor (air-conditioned) archery range, a high-demonstration center, hostel and residential facilities.

In addition, the cabinet also indicated Chhattisgarh Affayable Jana Avas Niyam -2025 -a economical housing scheme that aims to provide plots to the cities of low and middle class families. The cabinet also approved the transfer policy 2025 to facilitate the transfer of district level employees along with approval from the appropriate minister.
