A family in Assam, whose citizenship case is being heard in the Supreme Court, has alleged that one of his members, Khairul Islam, a 51 -year -old former government school teacher, was picked up from his home in Morigon district of the state and “pushed” in Bangladesh by security forces.

Their case is now part of several uniform citizenship cases, which have been tagged together and will be heard by the court due to time.
