Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debarma said on Thursday that the state should detect and deport illegal immigrants of Bangladesh and Pakistan and Rohingya persons to take action against them across the country.
“If you want to save Tripura, who actually loves Tripura, make sure that you bind all the illegal immigrants entering the state from Myanmar or Pakistan and defeat them to everyone to the Akhaura (ICP) or Sabroom (ICP) gate, which will not let them go before pushing them from the other side.
Between Pakistani atrocities, they fled to Tripura before 1971, in a diagonally context of non-tribals, the minister said that they should not forget that they went into a stunning position in the state, barely survived to torture across the border.
Saying that if the excess flow continues, everyone in Tripura will face a crisis and will not have enough space to live, the minister said, “Why is there a job crisis? Why is the price hike in the state? Why do the prices of land in Atara?”
Claiming that Tipra Motha is the only political party that organizes movements, Deberma said that he would continue to fight for the people of Tripura. He said, “I am a minister today. I cannot be a minister tomorrow. But Dofa (community) should live. Tripura should also live. I will fight for the people and not to be a minister,” he said.
He made the Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha also urged to review the role of Tripura Police’s Mobile Task Force, which usually oversees areas or limits to stop illegal migrants.
On 14 June, a delegation of Tipra Motha Party led by Diberma presented a memorandum to Tripura Governor Indisena Reddy Nallu, addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanded and controlled illegal migrants entering the state after 24 March, 1971.

The party also demanded to establish a special central work force for strict care for illegal migrants and strict care for exile.
