A Panchnama witness involved in the identity of a house in the Belagavi region of Karnataka, who was allegedly used to finalize the conspiracy to kill journalist Gauri Lankesh, has complained of receiving a threat before his visit to a special court in Bengaluru to test the 17 persons arrested on September 5, 2017.
A witness running a business in Belagavi rented the house, used by members of a right -wing crime syndicate involved in the murder of Gauri Lankesh. When he was identified by three accused men in the case – Sharad (Kalaskar), Ganesh (Miskin), and Amit (Baddi) – the house.

During the test, the witness said that she had hired a house in Belagavi, and police officers brought two suspects in the murder case – Ganesh (Misskin) and Amit (Badadi) – in the house in August 2018. A fourth accused was also brought, but the witness claimed that his name had been forgotten.
In court, the witness identified Amit (Baddi), Srikanth (Pangkar), and Sharad (Kalaskar), who was brought to the house in the accused persons where there was an alleged conspiracy, but he said that he could not identify the fourth person due to the passage of time.

During the testing of the murder case last week, one of the prosecution witnesses became hostile. The witness had earlier made a detailed statement to a magistrate, which was about participation in several training camps for the use of guns and explosives organized by a Hindutva syndicate, which has been implicated in the murder of Gauri Lankesh.
The 37 -year -old prosecution witness to join politics at the grassroots level in the Belagavi region of Karnataka was declared hostile by the state’s Special Public Prosecutor on Wednesday when he denied all the statements made before a magistrate under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 before a magistrate in September 2018.
