In train for Haridwar, Indore BJP leader caught the thief with red hand while stealing his mother's ashes

BJP leader Devendra Inani from Indore, along with his family, tried to steal in a train while traveling to Haridwar with his family to sink the ashes of his late mother and three other relatives.

The incident occurred in the early hours of July 21. Train tickets to Haridwar were booked about a month ago. Inani’s mother, Ramkanya Inani died on 85 April at the age of 85.

Inani and his eight family members boarded a train from Laxmibai Nagar station in Indore on the night of 20 July. Around 4 o’clock between Morena and Agra Cantt stations, a person entered his S -2 coach from nearby S -2 and tried to run away with a bag containing ash. Inani got up and caught him with a red hand. Inani said that the bag contained the ashes of his mother and three other relatives.

The passengers gathered and thrash the accused. A discovery inspired him for two empty purse in the washroom, and a passenger discovered that his mobile phone was dropped from the train. The accused is said to be a resident of Gwalior, was handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Agra Cantt. Their identity and previous criminal anticadents are being investigated by the police.

Inani said, “Most of the passengers had to continue the journey, so the person who lost his mobile phone remained back and filed an FIR.”

Inani and his family reached Haridwar on Monday and performed rites on Tuesday.

A video of the incident also surfaced on Tuesday, in which the accused can be seen in the custody of Inani and other passengers.
