Indian Army gets three Apache helicopters from Boeing

The Indian Army said on Thursday that it had found helicopters of three Apache attacks from American aerospace company Boeing. The company gave the Indian Army AH-64e Apaches Choppers as part of a contract to supply six helicopters to the Indian Army.

AH-64 Apache, which is one of the most advanced multi-rall combat helicopters in the world, is currently flown by the US Army.

In an X post, the Indian Army said, “The milestone for the Indian Army came to India today as the first batch of Apache helicopters for army aviation. These will increase the operational capabilities of state -of -the -art platforms Indian army Importantly. ,

In 2020, Boeing completed the delivery of 22 e -model Apache to the Indian Air Force (IAF) and signed a contract for the supply of six AH -64E for the Indian Army.

The US government and Boeing signed a multiple dollar contract with the Indian Air Force in September 2015 for 22 Apache helicopters. As part of the contract, Apache delivery was scheduled to begin in 2024.

Additionally, in 2017, the Ministry of Defense approved the purchase of six Apache helicopters with arms systems from Boeing at a cost of Rs 4,168 crore for the army.

AH-64E is the most recent configuration of Apache and is ready to work in the Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) conducted by the Army. The attack chopper consists of a network-centered, fully integrated weapon system that is specially designed to dominate excessive competition and complex battle site.
