Israel-Iran Sangharsh: Embassy urged to vacate Indians in Tehran, visit the 'safe place' outside the city. Bharat News

The Indian Embassy in Iran on Tuesday advised all Indian citizens and public information officers (PIOs) in Tehran, “who can get out using their own resources” and reach safe places outside the capital city amid growing tension in the Middle East region.

This warning comes immediately after US President Donald Trump, in a warning, Tehran urged everyone to be “immediately emptied”.

The embassy said in a post, “All Indian citizens and PIOs who can get out of Tehran using their own resources are advised to go to a safe place outside the city.” X.

The embassy also directed Indians in Tehran, who have not contacted them to do so and evaluate them with location and contact numbers.

“All Indian citizens who are in Tehran and are not in contact with the embassy are requested to contact India’s embassy in Tehran immediately and provide their location and contact number,” read another post.

In addition, Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that 24 × 7 control papers have been set up in both Israel and Iran as the two sides continued to engage in air strikes and missile attacks for the fifth straight day.
