Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday assured to arrange deluxe buses for students in Jammu and Kashmir, who left Iran under Operation Sindhu.
Indian students from Jammu and Kashmir, after criticizing the Jammu and Kashmir administration, assured that to provide buses kept poorly for their further travel from Delhi to their hometown. Many of them called the conditions “unsafe and disappointing”.
The Chief Minister’s office took the X and said, “The Chief Minister has noticed the request of the students who were taken out of Iran, which is about the quality of the buses systematic to take them from Delhi to J&K. The resident commissioner has been tasked to coordinate with JKRTC to ensure that proper deluxe buses are arranged.”

Criticism on inferior buses for return to Jammu and Kashmir
Despite the smooth airlift from Iran to Delhi, the students expressed disappointment with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to arrange poor quality buses for their travel home. A student said, “We did not realize that we would have an issue because we were going home, and the state government will take care of it further. But, the buses being provided are in such a bad state. Two hours ago, CM Omar Abdullah tweeted about it, but nothing has happened yet,” a student said.
In a more scary criticism, another student said, “The buses provided are in such a bad state that even animals will not travel in them. We cannot go to such buses, and our safety can be compromised. We are (in Delhi) here (in Delhi) and for this we are emptying them easily, we have no problems, but we are not a problem.”
However, the students expressed their deepest gratitude to the Center for the smooth extraction process.
