At a time when Congress MP Shashi Tharoor ended at the comments made during the global outreach on Operation Sindoor, he ended the opposing camp with Union Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijuju who were hitting the Grand Old Party.
At the end of Thursday, Congress leader Udit Raj said that the BJP would soon nominate Tharoor as its “super spokesperson”, Rijiju questioned why Indian MPs should speak against the country or Prime Minister on foreign soil.
“What does the Congress party want and how much they really care about the country? Should Indian MPs go to a foreign nation and speak against India and its Prime Minister? There is a limit of political frustration,” he wrote on X (East Twitter).

There was a video in Rijiju’s X post, where Shashi Tharoor said during his visit to Panama as part of OP Sindoor Outreach that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that military operations against terrorist camps were necessary.
In the clip shared by Rijiju, Tharoor can be heard saying, “Our Prime Minister made it clear, operation vermilion was necessary because the terrorists wiped out ‘sindoor’ from the forehead of 26 women … but India decided that the Vermilian color of ‘Sindoor’ would also match the color of blood of the killers, matching the blood of those who attacked.”
The Congress MP also said on Wednesday that for the first time India did the line of control to attack on a terrorist basis in Pakistan during a surgical strike. The Indian Army moved one step ahead of LoC during Operation Sindoor, killing terrorist bases, training centers, terrorist headquarters in nine places.
However, Congress leader Udit Raj attacked Shashi Tharoor on several of his comments, dubbing him “BJP’s super spokesperson” and accused him of being dishonest towards his party.

Raj posted on X on Wednesday, “I could strengthen PM Modi to declare you as the super spokesperson of BJP, even before entering India as Foreign Minister. How could you defame the gold history of Congress by saying that before PM Modi, India never crossed the LOC and international border.”
