A minor girl, who was raped on May 26 and died on Sunday morning at Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) due to her injuries, she had to wait in an ambulance before being hospitalized, her family accused her. PMCH officials denied the allegations and said that after the matter came on his notice, the hospital administration worked fast.
“When we arrived at the PMCH on Saturday (from another hospital), the emergency department employees said that there was no place and we were directed in other wards. We were sent to the pediatric department after being away from two-three wards. She was in an ambulance for hours. Some politicians accepted at around 5 pm on Saturday, and on Sunday.
On Saturday afternoon, Congress workers led by the party’s Bihar President Rajesh Ram showed at PMCH, while the girl was waiting in an ambulance. On Sunday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in a post on social media, “Cruelty against a small Dalit girl in Muzaffarpur and later negligence in her treatment is extremely shameful. If he had received timely treatment, he would not only get to save her life, not only to save her life, but she would not be found. Criminals and careless officers will not be found.”
Dr.CH Medical Superintendent Dr. Indrashekhar Thakur said that there was no negligence from the hospital administration. He said that he was brought to an ambulance from Muzaffarpur Hospital in an ambulance from Muzaffarpur Hospital at 1.23 pm on Saturday afternoon, after which doctors advised him to be taken to the ENT department.
“I was on leave, but the acting superintendent was informed and the patient was immediately called to the ENT department. Meanwhile, Congress workers arrived, causing a crowd outside the crowd. Our doctors examined him in advanced life support ambulance, which was equipped with necessary facilities. The gynecology department, as currently a lack of ICU facility,” he said.

Thakur said, “It is alleged that PMCH neglected him for four hours or nine hours.
According to police, the girl was attacked in Muzaffarpur district on 26 May. The accused, Rohit Kumar Sahni (30), allegedly removed him from his house at around 11 am with “promises of Kurkur and Chocolate”.

Police alleged that he took her to a separate place near a pond, raped her, cut her neck and stabbed her with a knife. She was lying near the pond at around 7 pm that evening.
Muzaffarpur Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Vidya Sagar said that the accused was arrested the same night.
“The victim had many injuries on her body. Due to her neck cut, she could not speak, but told her relatives using signs.
The girl’s mother, a widow, said that the accused had taken the girl away after coming home to sell the fish. He said, “I was unwell and did not notice. When I got up and searched for him, she could not find anywhere. Later, someone told me that he had taken her on his bicycle at around 11 am,” he said, the accused looked at his village again and again to sell the fish. She was informed with the head of the village that her daughter was lying near a pond, after which she reached the spot with the police.

Another relative said that the girl was found at around 7 pm after the family and villagers made frustrated efforts to find her.
He was initially treated at SKMCH in Muzaffarpur for five days before being sent to PMCH on Saturday.
