Wildlife officials have said that a male tiger was suspected of being behind the death of a teenager from Madhya Pradesh, successfully tracked and captured on Friday afternoon. The five -year -old tiger is suspected of beating 18 -year -old Sumit Pandre from Bawanthadi village.
Officials said the tiger was seen in the forests, 15 km from the village at 11.30 am on Saturday and was eventually entertained. Three elephants were used in operation in the Pench Tiger Reserve.
“The tiger was successfully pacified and left in the open forest,” Additional Chief Chief Conservator (Wildlife) L Krishnamurthy told The Indian Express.
