The Union Ministry of Minority Affairs announced on Thursday that the payment is pending for seven months under Maulana Azad National Fellowship (Manf). Fellowships for research scholars of minority communities were not left from January this year.

In December 2022, the scholarship was closed by the ministry, but the current scholars were to be given fellowships until the conclusion of his tenure.

The six notified minority communities by the MANF Center-Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Parsis and Sikhs have a five-year fellowship provided by the Center as financial assistance-to pursue Mill and PhD.
