Sonam Raghuvanshi, Accused of killing her husband Raja Raghuvanshi Last month, in Meghalaya, and their partner and co-accused Raj Kushwaha are denying that they have planned the murder and tried to convict each other, the investigators familiar with their inquiry have told the Indian Express.
During interrogation of the other accused, the police were told that Vishal, one of the allegedly rented killers, hit the king on the head, threw the body under the gorge. A senior official said, “Sonam allegedly took her husband to the spot after telling her husband that she wanted to take a picture. The men claim that they helped throwing the body. Then she traveled to a scooter together and dispersed.”
On Wednesday, a district and session court in Meghalaya sent Sonam and four others to police custody in police custody in eight days when the police needed to face evidence and rebuild the crime site.
The accused is expected to carry Sohra in the next few days to rebuild the crime scene.
SIT Chief Herbert Piniad Kharkongor told The Indian Express, “We have to ask him many important details about the murder. We have not yet revealed the details of money transactions as to how the murder was planned and they had to face the evidence.”

The police planned to question Sonam on gold and other precious items, which she allegedly on honeymoon. “We recovered a toe ring from his mangalsutra and hotel, where he left his bags. We knew that there was something,” the official said.
The police also have evidence in the form of assassination weapons, bloody clothes, couple’s CCTV footage, and testimony of many people, including a guide that saw the accused together.

Another Meghalaya Police official said that an area of focus for investigators would be how they went to the site of the incident. “They chose a path that was usually not taken by the villagers and tourists. It was a site of dispute between the two clans. We have to find out how they did,” the officer told the Indian Express.
Raja and Sonam were reported missing last month during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. Earlier this month, the king’s body was found, and was stepped into searching for Sonam. On Sunday night, the police arrested Kushwaha for allegedly orchestrating Raja’s murder with the help of Sonam. Once he was caught, Sonam surrendered at a police station in Uttar Pradesh.
