'Mobs, cannot allow vigilant groups to be taken to our streets': SC asked Karnataka with a 'thug life' ban. Bharat News

The Supreme Court on Tuesday criticized the Karnataka High Court, in which actor Kamal Haasan asked to apologize for his alleged comment on Kannada, before he could make rules on his petition to ensure the smooth release of his film thug life in the state.

The court ordered, “The pending petition before the Karnataka High Court is transferred to this court. We give a day time to the state of Karnataka to register counter-defaulters. List the case on Thursday,” the court ordered the case.

The court, demanding his intervention for the smooth release of Kamal Haasan film in Karnataka, listened to a Payal and said after the dangers against their screening in view of their statement by some groups that Kannada was born out of Tamil.

Raising it for hearing on Tuesday, Justice Bhuan said, “We cannot allow crowds and vigilance groups to be taken to our streets. The law of law

The state government said that the filmmaker had already approached HC, but the apex court said, “So what? We will move it here … We cannot allow this to happen.”

Justice Manmohan said, “The law of the law demands that any person should be allowed to release his film. It may not be in pain or fear of burning theaters that there will not be movies. It should not be done. See. See. See. See. See, people can not come, it is a different case. It is not an order.

“The state is an enlightened state. I am sure it will not allow congestion and vigilance groups to be taken to the streets.”

However, Justice Manmohan reiterated, “The law of law demands that people cannot be put on their heads with a gun and said, we will not allow the release until you resolve it. The law is important. The state is important. The state must ensure that whoever wants to show the film, it should be issued after a CBFC certification.

Justice Manmohan said, “People cannot watch the film.

Justice Bhuan referred to the SC’s decision except for the first information report (FIR) against Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgagari on the social media post, and said that the verdict cited the Bombay High Court’s decision, which was banning Natharam Gods Boltoy.

Justice Bhuan said, “He had recited a poem and an FIR was lodged against him, and we canceled it. In that judgment, we approved the full bench of the Bombay High Court in the nineties, written by Justice Dye Chandrachud.”

“There was a Marathi drama called me Nathuram Gods Boltoy, where there were important references for the father of the nation. There was a hue and cry, and the Maharashtra government banned the drama, and directed the seizure of all copies. Stop it.

The state counsel said that the manufacturer has made a statement that a proposal would be demanded, and urged the court, “let them make an effort”. However, the bench did not agree.

Justice Manmohan asked, “Will the law of the law depend on a person’s statement? The law of the law demands that any film should be released near the CBFC certificate, it should be allowed to be investigated, and the state must ensure that the law of law is strong in that state.”

When it was reported that the High Court had asked Haasan to apologize, Justice Manmohan said, “Is there anything wrong in this system that a person gives a statement, and you believe that statement, as if this gospel is true. As my brother is saying, let the issue be a debate on this issue. Let people say that he is wrong.”

Justice Bhuyan was added, “or the enlightened people of Bengaluru can issue a statement that he is wrong, that he knows nothing.”

Criticizing the High Court, Justice Bhuyan commented, “Why should HC regret it, apologize? It’s not HC’s business to ask someone to apologize. Just because he has expressed an approach.”

Justice Manmohan said, “This is about the rule of law, it is about a fundamental right. Therefore, this court is intervening. This is for the Supreme Court. We are the patron of fundamental rights along with the rule of law. It is not just a screening of the film, it is much larger than this.”
