Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that there is a strong foundation for India’s relations with Cyprus under mutual trust and law rule in democracy.
Modi said, “We respect each other’s sovereignty and regional integrity. Our relationships are neither made up of circumstances nor limited.”
Modi also thanked Cyprus for supporting India’s fight against terrorism crossing Cyprus. “To give strategic direction to our relationship, we will prepare a solid roadmap for the next 5 years,” he said.
Modi arrived at Cyprus on Sunday and is all set to visit Kananskis in Canada to attend the G7 Summit on Monday. This will be the sixth consecutive participation of the PM at the G7 Summit.
