The Indian Air Force pilot, Shukla, became the first Indian to revolve around $ 150 billion in space laboratory since Rakesh Sharma’s historic mission in 1984. The mission lasted for about 433 hours, completed 288 classes and covered more than 12.2 million kilometers.

The moment the Shubanshu emerged safely from the capsule, the family jumped from its seats and involved others in clapping and cheering. He also waved the flag.

Asha Shukla said, “My son has made history, and we are proud of him. These tears are only of happiness. He has now become another Indian after Rakesh Sharma traveling in space and returning safely.”

She said that even after the launch, she could not stop worrying about her, wondering if she was eating properly, resting enough, and being safe, even though Shubhanshu was strictly following the instructions given by the officials. Also, during a conversation with space, he assured them that he was doing well. “As a mother, these thoughts kept coming to my mind, whatever it is,” she said.

Celebration offer

The family said that on Monday, when the Axiom-4 crew separated from ISS, they were filled with anxiety and turned into prayer, hopefully everything will work smoothly.

“We were quietly praying as a spacecraft. There was tension. We had stress, but we kept our faith and expected the best,” said Shambu Dayal Shukla, father of a retired government official Shubhanshu.

The father said, “When we finally heard that everything was fine, we felt a wave of relief. We are proud that he has completed the mission safely. Now, we are just waiting to return to his house; then we will really feel peace,” the father said that he had received a call from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who congratulated him.

To seek blessings for its safe return, the family performed Rudrabhishak at a Shiva temple on the first Monday of the holy month of Sana.

The father said that before leaving for space, Shubhanshu had assured him with words: “Papa, kar keta hoon. You Chinta Na Kar (Papa, I will go and I will complete it. Don’t worry).”

The family said that although he was already informed about the time of the expected return by the authorities, he kept flipping through news channels since morning, eagerly discovered any update on his safe arrival. In the morning, the family recited Sundarakand in the temple, lit the lamp and prayed.

He said that when he is not yet sure when he returns home, enthusiasm is widespread; Everyone, from friends of their school to neighbors, is eager to welcome her.

Shubhunhu will be on medical observation for a few days, his sister said. Shubanshu’s father -in -law Brij Mohan Mishra, who was also present in the event, said that he was proud of Shubanshu and is waiting to return home.

The ceremonies were echoing across the country in Lucknow, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi Also, his greetings are also increasing.

In a post on X, PM Modi wrote: “I joined the nation to welcome group captain Shubanshu Shukla, as he returns to Earth in space with his historic mission. He has visited the International Space Station as India’s first astronaut, inspired one billion dreams through his dedication, courage and leading spirit.”

The Prime Minister said that this moment marked another important step towards India’s own human spacecraft program, Gaganan, which is expected to be launched in the near future.
