NIA searches together in Kashmir Valley in terms of terrorist conspiracy

Officials said on Thursday that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is searching at several places in many places in the Kashmir Valley.

The search took place in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama and Sopore in North Kashmir and Kupwara in South Kashmir. An official said that search is being done simultaneously at 32 places in the valley.

Police officials said J&K were with police and paramilitary forces with the central investigative agency Sleiths.

In the shopkeeper of South Kashmir, Rebon is being searched in Nildora and Czech-e-Choland villages. The official said that discoveries are also going on in the villages of Devsar, Bugam, Sangigam and Manzgam in the neighboring Kulgam district. Officials said Sleiths also printed “some places in Pulwama in South Kashmir”.

In North Kashmir, NIA teams have raided several places in Sopore and Kupwara.

An official said that a raid was being conducted in the case registered by the Central Agency three years ago. The case was registered in 2022 against several “terrorist organizations and ground workers for terrorist conspiracy” by NIA in Jammu.

After the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahgam, there has been an increased crack on terrorists and their alleged supporters in the valley, killing 25 tourists and a local person.
