No neglect, perhaps communication interval: Congress says that he was not invited to the Nilambur Bipol campaign after Tharoor

Congress Working Committee member Shashi Tharoor said that he was not invited for the campaign for the party before the Nilambur by -election, the Congress state leadership said that he was not attempted to “neglect or escape”, but believed that there could be “a communication difference”.

He saw, “I saw that he (Congress) had some misunderstandings. When I was busy traveling abroad, he was in arguments without understanding what I had said,” he said.

Talking to reporters on the occasion of an event in Thiruvananthapuram, Tharoor said that he had no plans to join BJP. “Let the Congress express your views about me,” he said.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit after returning from abroad, Tharoor said it was to discuss the visit of the delegation in various countries. “No domestic politics was discussed”.

Regarding his absence for the party campaigning before Bipol for the Nilambur assembly constituency, Tharoor said he was not invited. He said, “I was not invited. When I came back after 16 days of trips, there was no message,” he said, “I don’t go where I am not invited.”

Congress State Vice President AP Anil Kumar said that Tharoor was from the list of star campaigners of the party. Kumar said, “He was not here in Kerala. There was no attempt to ignore or avoid them. There could be a communication gap.”

Due to being important for the Congress before the assembly elections next year, several senior party leaders said that Tharoor should have shown restraint when voted. Senior leader Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan said, “The issue can be opened after the by -election.

Congress state president Sunny Joseph said that the party had not given any duty to the members of the Working Committee in the by -election. He said, “There is no practice of inviting any leader. Everyone knows that Tharoor was busy. We know their style. The publicity in panchayats was given to KPCC leaders, MLAs and MPs,” he said.
