Not far away future than Indo-American trade deal: US Commerce Secretary Howard Lootnik | Bharat News

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik said that a trade deal between India and America could be in a “very distant future” because “we found a place that actually works for the two countries.”

“When they put the right person in India, they put the right person on the other side of the table, and we (he) have managed, I think,” Lutnik said in his main address in the eighth edition of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (Usispf) here on Monday.

He said, “You should expect a deal between the United States and India in a very distant future because I think we find a place that actually works for the two countries,” he said.
