Pakistan immersed in bigotry, terrorism: India describes UNSC meeting. Bharat News

India chaired the United Nations Security Council meeting under the chairmanship of Pakistan that there should be a “serious cost” for those nations that increase terrorism across the border, as it described the neighboring country as a “serial borrower” immersed in “bigotry”.

United Nations Ambassador Parvathani Harish said, “As we argue to promote international peace and safety, it is necessary to identify that there are some fundamental principles that need to be honored universally. One of them is zero tolerance for terrorism,” the permanent representative of India said for the United Nations Ambassador Parvathani Harish.

Harish on Tuesday gave a high-level open debate on promoting international peace and security through multilateralism and peaceful controversies organized under the Presidential post of 15-Nation Council for July in a high-level open debate by the United Nations Security Council.

Giving a strong response to Dar’s comments, Harish said that the Indian sub-continent offers “opposite opposite” in terms of progress, prosperity and development models.

“On the one hand, there is India, which is a mature democracy, a growing economy and a pluralist and inclusive society. At the other extreme Pakistan, which is immersed in bigotry and terrorism, and is a serial borrower from the IMF (International Monetary Fund).

In his statement at the UNSC Chamber, Harish spoke about the Pahalgam terror attack, for which a front for Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tabiba claimed a front, resistance front, responsibility.

Harish emphasized that there should be a “serious cost” for those states that “violate the sense of good neighbor and international relations that increase terrorism across the border.” The Indian envoy said, “It makes a member of the council sick to offer the house while involving the international community to be involved in unacceptable practices.”

He said that on 22 April, as a result of a fierce terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, 26 innocent tourists were killed, and on 25 April, based on UNSC’s statement, India launched Operation Sindoor, who targeted terrorist camps in Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan and Pakistan.

In the UNSC statement, the members of the council underlined the need to justify criminals, organizers, financers and sponsors of this condemnable work of terrorism and bring them justice.

Harish said that India’s response was concentrated, measured and non-esklery in nature. “On achieving its primary objectives, a termination of military activities at the request of Pakistan was directly concluded,” he said.

Earlier, US representative Ambassador Dorothy Sheiya said in the meeting that in the last three months alone, the US leadership gave “de-size” between Israel and Iran, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda and between India and Pakistan.

Harish insisted that in recent decades, the nature of conflicts has changed, “with the spread of non-state actors, often proposed and proposed as proxy by state actors; and border money, weapons, trafficking, training of terrorists, and spreading of radical ideologies, easy by modern digital and communication technology.”

He said that on the question of peaceful disposal of disputes, the Chapter of the United Nations Charter begins with an recognition that it is the ‘parties for the controversy’, first to find a solution by peaceful means of choice. “National ownership and consent of the parties is central for any attempt to achieve a peaceful solution to conflicts,” he said.

Harish underlined that there may not be a standard outlook for dispute resolution. “Changing situations and references should also be taken into consideration, considering any such effort.” Harish said that the multilateral system, especially the Representation of the United Nations and the Security Council, is increasing doubts about serious question marks, they should be addressed immediately.

He said, “In this context, India has proud of the convenience of incorporating the African Union in the G20 forum during its presidential post. The continuation of the United Nations Security Council also shows the increasing challenges for the efficiency and effectiveness of the United Nations Security Council.” Pakistan is currently a non-established member of the 15-Nation Council for the tenure of 2025-26.
