PFI made a hit list of 950 people: NIA to Court | Bharat News

Objectioning the bail applications of India’s banned popular front (PFI) activists in the 2022 murder of an RSS worker, the NIA informed a special court that the Muslim organization prepared a hit list of 950-odd-odds individuals from other communities.

The NIA submission has been revealed in a special court order in Kochi, who rejected the bail application of four PFI workers on 11 June, who was arrested in the murder of RSS worker A Srinivasan in Palakkad in April 2022. Out of 73 alleged accused, 58 were arrested.

The NIA said in its submission that PFI wanted to eliminate those who go against the interest of the organization. Through its ‘reporters Wing’ of a semi-intelligence division of PFI, the organization collected information about prominent personalities, leaders of other communities, especially the Hindu community. The data is compiled at district-stars and informed in the state hierarchy. The details are updated regularly and used to “target” individuals.

It said that PFI had trained its cadre for the collection of such data and stored them in the ‘Service Wing’ for the attack to make a decision in their leadership.
