PM Modi visit Brazil for BRICS Summit 2025 live updates: BRICS Summit 2025 For 2025 Live updates, PM Modi visit Brazil: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived in Brazil for a four -day visit to attend the 17th BRICS summit, which was scheduled for 6 and 7 July. After reaching Rio on Saturday night, the Prime Minister welcomed the Indian community on a cultural performance.

Modi’s five-nation visit: Brazil is the fourth stop on Modi’s five-nation tour. Earlier, he visited Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentina. In Argentina, Modi held extensive talks with President Xavier Milli and agreed to diversify two-way trade and increase cooperation in defense, important minerals, drugs, energy and mining areas. After Brazil, he will travel to Namibia as the last phase of his journey.

What is BRICS?: The BRICS is a group of eleven countries, originally five – Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, which was later expanded to include Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Indonesia and Iran. It serves as a political and diplomatic coordination forum for coordination for countries from global South and in the most diverse fields.
