At a time when Delhi is reaching the leaders of Global South and BRICS Grouping, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit five countries in Africa and South America from July 2 to 9.
Modi will visit Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia and, in his meetings with leaders of these countries, will discuss issues ranging from business to defense, technology and agriculture to health.
Next to the Prime Minister’s visit, the Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Dmmu Ravi, indicated that the BRICS declaration on terrorism “language” “would be very high for our satisfaction”.

The Prime Minister’s visit matches the US on 1 July with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar for a meeting of Foreign Ministers. It is also a symbol of India’s diplomatic balance between the West and Non-West groups at the time of strategic hedging in this period of geological flow.
Jaishankar, who inaugurated an exhibition called ‘The Human Cost of Terrorism’ at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, said on Monday, “Terrorism is one of the most serious threats for humanity.
Targeting Pakistan, he said, “When terrorism is supported by a state against a neighbor, when it is full of extremism of extremism, when it hosts a complete host of illegal activities, it is important to call it publicly. And one way to do so is that it remains on global society.”

The Prime Minister, who leaves on a tour of five countries on Wednesday, will attend the summit of BRICS leaders at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 5 to 7 July, followed by a state trip on 8 July. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the 17th peak.
On the way to Brazil, Modi will stay in Ghana on 2 and 3 July. From there, he will go to Argentina on July 3-5 on July 4-5 and will go to Brazil. On the way to his home, he will stay in Namibia on 9 July. He will return to Delhi on 10 July.

In Ghana, economic cooperation will be emphasized, while his visit to Namibia aims to renew economic relations. In Trinidad and Tobago, India will focus on diversifying cooperation in pharmaceuticals, renewable energy and digital infrastructure.
The Brazilian Prime Minister’s visit is expected to strengthen trade and detect renewable energy and agricultural research. Argentina’s travel will increase cooperation in defense, manufacturing and healthcare.
Officials said that this would be the Prime Minister’s “bilateral visit to Ghana for the first time”. It will also be Ghana’s first visit by an Indian Prime Minister after three decades.
Modi will hold talks to review a strong bilateral partnership with Ghana president John Mahama and to discuss further routes to increase it through economic, energy and defense cooperation, and development cooperation partnership. The journey will confirm the shared commitment of the two countries to deepen bilateral relations and strengthen India’s engagement with Ecowas (Economic Community of West African states) and African Union.

His visit to Trinidad and Tobago at the invitation of Prime Minister Kamala Persad-Bisasar, his first visit to the country as Prime Minister and the first bilateral visit by a PM after 1999.
He will interact with Trinidad and Tobago President, Christine Carla Kangalu, and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bisasar and discuss further strengthening of bilateral relations. Officials said they are expected to address a joint session of the Parliament of the country.
In Argentina, he will interact with President Xavier Milli, review the ongoing cooperation and discuss ways to further increase bilateral partnerships in major areas including defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, trade and investment, and people from people to people.
In Brazil, Modi will attend the 17th BRICS summit and follow it with a state trip at the invitation of President Luiz Eneasio Lula Da Silva. This will be Modi’s fourth visit to Brazil.

Officials said during the summit, Modi would exchange ideas on prominent global issues including global rule, reform of peace and security, strengthening multiplicity, strengthening multilateralism, artificial intelligence, climate action, global health, economic and financial matters responsible. He is likely to have several bilateral meetings on the banks of the summit.
For the state visit, Modi will travel to Brasilia, where he will hold bilateral discussion with President Lula widely with President Lula, widely with President Lula, a widely strategic partnership between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, including business, defense, energy, space, technology, agriculture, health, health and people’s relations.
