PM Modi said Air India crash 'Heartbreaking Beyond Words', in contact with ministers, officials. Bharat News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the crash a “heart-breaking” with a 242 onboard with a 242 onboard with London-Bound Air India aircraft on Thursday.

Taking X, Modi said, “The tragedy in Ahmedabad has shocked and unhappy us. It is beyond words. In this sad hour, my views are affected by everyone. It is in touch with ministers and officials who are working to help the affected people.”

Around 2 pm, Air India Plane along with passengers and crew crashed in moments after flying from Ahmedabad Airport. Many casualties are feared.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu took stock of the plane crash. The minister informed the Prime Minister that he was running for Ahmedabad to oversee the rescue and relief operations on the land. The Prime Minister has instructed the minister to ensure that all necessary support is extended immediately and asked to keep updates on the situation regularly.

All relevant agencies are on high alert, and coordinated efforts are underway.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took the X to X and said, “In Ahmedabad, the pain beyond the tragic aircraft accident. Disaster response forces have been quickly taken to the accident site. Talked with Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel, Home Minister Mr. Harsha Sanghvi, and Police Commissioner Ahmedabad.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “The news of tragic aircraft accident in Ahmedabad is deeply suffering. My views and prayers are with passengers and crew families.”
