The counter intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit of Jammu and Kashmir Police has raided 10 places in four districts-Pulwama, Gandalball, Srinagar and Budgam-On the morning of Saturday morning, as part of an investigation into a case related to terrorism.
CIK is handled by a terrorist commander code-name Abdullah Ghazi, looking at the jaesh-e-mohammad organization in the alleged “terrorist recruitment/financing module”. Ghazi operates from Rawalpindi in Pakistan, police said.
According to the commander, CIK, the local Kashmiri was in “continuous touch” with the youth and attempted to “radical” for allegedly recruiting terrorist rank. The police have also claimed that Ghazi is working in close coordination with Pakistan’s ISI.
“During the discoveries, a large number of documentary evidence and digital equipment were seized. 10 suspects have been scored so far,” a statement said.
