Sonam Raghuvanshi had allegedly intended to pass the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, as a robbery in Meghalaya went wrong and was planning to live as a widow for some time, before trying to marry Raji Kushwaha to her family, the alleged mastermind of a honeymoon murder told the Indian Express.
The special investigation team was investigating the murder of Raja, who was a resident of Indore, who carried out a transport business, first suspected Sonam, when he heard his mother -in -law’s audio call, informed her about a fast that she had done her husband’s health.

Simi said, “This is what has been found in our investigation. The couple had not booked a return flight ticket. They initially planned to visit a temple in Guwahati. Then they chose to visit Meghalaya, and this much space should have been selected to commit a crime as a tourist had recently declined.”

The police is now waiting for Sonam to reach Shillong, where he will be questioned with other accused. The police is investigating financial transactions which took place during the time whether the contract was paid for murder.
