Six people were arrested on Wednesday, when the body of a person was found in a suitcase stored in a freezer in Dhalai district of Tripura, about three days later he went missing from Argartla. Police said the arrested accused included a cousin of a girl, Tejasiful Islam, was in love, the police said.
“We arrested six people, Dr. Dibakar Saha, 28, his father Deepak Saha, 52, mother Debika Saha, 40, Nabanita Das, 25, Jodeep Das, 20, Animesh Yadav, 21, the reason behind the murder of a love triangle was the reason behind the murder. 24 -year -old Shareiful was engaged in a smart city project as an electrician.
Police said that Dibakar had invited Sharuful to Joydeep’s house in South Indranagar on 8 June to give him some gifts. When Sheripul went there, Dibakar allegedly strangled him in the presence of Jodeep, Animesh and Nabamita. He then allegedly tied his hands and filled the Shirful’s body in the suitcase.
Dibakar took the suitcase to Gandachara and stored an ice cream at his father’s shop on 9 June inside an ice cream fridge, said that he had bought the suitcase two days before the murder.
On June 9, a missing person was lodged by Shaful’s family at the new Capital Complex Police Station.
