A 24 -year -old man from Kashmir, accused of stealing, was arrested by a police from a government hospital in Jammu on Tuesday morning, and allegedly paraded a shirtless parade on the bonnet of a police vehicle. He was designed to wear a garland of slippers and his hands were tied behind his back.

After a video of the incident went viral, Jammu SSP Joginder Singh has ordered a departmental inquiry into the matter.

The person was identified as Ishrak Ahmed of Permapillan in Uri tehsil of Baramula district. Police said he was living in Kasim Nagar area of ​​Jammu.

The SSP’s inquiry order stated that the incident seen in the viral video formed acts on behalf of police personnel, who were “unprofessional, unbalanced, unbalanced, and the stern department asked for action …” The SSP handed over the investigation to the sub -divisional police officer of the city (North), and asked to submit his report within a week.
