Two weeks after the discussion about the nationalist on Sindhor, the operations of the presidents at Operation Sindoor at Kerala Raj Bhawan, another political storm is now going on in the state – it is on a picture of Mother India. The Agriculture Department of Kerala changed the site of its World Environment Day celebrations from Raj Bhavan on Thursday, claiming that the picture of Bharat Mata on the performance is “used by RSS”.
This is the first time the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Kerala government has openly expressed displeasure with Raj Bhavan after the current Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar earlier this year.
The Agriculture Department had planned to inaugurate the state-level state-level in Raj Bhavan, which is the chief guest with the Governor. Officials of the Agriculture Department, who reviewed the preparation for the work in the central hall of Raj Bhavan, saw that the picture of Bharat Mata used at the site was typically similar to the Sangh Parivar and later, he raised the case with CPI leader and Agriculture Minister P Prasad, who took a strong exception to the photo.
As a result, the department performed its work in the Durbar Hall of the State Secretariat.
Prasad told the media that the government had planned the program at Raj Bhavan, but changed its place after a deadlock with the governor on the photo.

“The picture of Bharat Mata (the Central Hall of Raj Bhavan) is displayed at the site, which is used by the RSS. A constitutional body should not use a seat. Constitutionally, that picture is not appropriate to use that picture in a government function. The governor insisted on using that picture, but we could not agree to Raj Bhavan.
But sources in Raj Bhavan said that the minister cannot decide what should happen or not in Raj Bhavan. He also said that the program proceeded according to the plan at Raj Bhavan and “Governor and officials participated”.

A source said, “When a ceremony is being held in Raj Bhavan, the minister cannot decide what should be used and what it should not be used. The minister has no right to say which picture of Mother India should be used,” a source said.
“Operation Sindoor: Candle Light from Brahmos to Paradiman Shift”, two weeks after the talk of Raj Bhavan, criticized the opposition Congress, who objected to “Raj Bhavan being converted into RSS headquarters”.
The party reacted as the latest development, opposition leader VD Satheson said that it was “not appropriate” to use that picture of Bharat Mata in Raj Bhavan. “Weeks ago, RSS thinker Gurumurthy was brought to Raj Bhavan for one thing and spoke insulting the former Prime Ministers. Why Chief Minister Vijayan is silent on it? He is afraid of speaking about the governor. Raj Bhavan is a constitutional body and should not be built for such political programs,” he said.
