The new BJP chief is soon likely that India appoints senior leaders to oversee organizational elections

The process of choosing the new national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised pace as the party on Friday appointed three senior members to oversee the organizational elections in Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

While Kiren Rijiju was appointed as the State Election Officer for Maharashtra, Harsh Malhotra was appointed for Ravi Shankar Prasad for Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

According to the BJP’s Constitution, the national president of the state can once be selected with the elections of half the state’s presidents and has become one at the same time. While the new BJP chiefs have so far been declared for 14 of 37 state / UT party units, many major state units have been elected so far – Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.

Current BJP national president, JP Nadda, has been on an extension since June last year, when he was also included as a cabinet minister in the NDA government 3.0 with Narendra Modi-Left.
