Flalying “suspected recruitments” in Haryana Circle of Post Department, Gurugram Post Master General has demanded a CBI inquiry about the possibility of operating the “organized recruitment gang” within the department, The Indian Express Have you learnt.
According to sources, on 11 July, in separate letters to the Chief Post Master General (C-PMG) of Haryana Circle and on July 11, PMG Gurugram Akash Deep Chakraborty also alleged that no action has been taken despite repeatedly bringing senior officials of his department.

He said, “There are at least 70 cases of recruitment that create many doubts. They operate a large recruitment gang in the department, and need to be investigated,” he said.

The letter recently cites a case in which an employee allegedly referred to his merit as ‘intermediate from Delhi University’. The department reached the registrar of the University of Delhi, who made it clear that there is no such degree, saying that the employee did not respond to the letters and show-causes notice. In March 2024, an FIR was registered in the case.
According to sources, some of these 70 posts are in the feeder category – they are employees who can be promoted higher, and in this case, gazetted roles. Other, meanwhile, there are clerical roles.

Sanjay Singh confirmed that he received a letter. “We will interrogate our department about the matter,” he said.
