In his latest petition, Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta, who is an accused in the conspiracy of Gurpant Singh Panun murder, has sought to exclude some statements made to law enforcement officers, stating that he was not informed about any right at the time of his arrest, including the rights for a lawyer or a lawyer.

He said, “Neither special agent Franks nor Task Force Officer Sandobal brought allegations in the case during the car ride. At any point during the car ride, I did not mention anything about anyone being killed in New York City,” he said in an announcement in the Southern District Court of New York.

Recalling the evening of his detention and arrest in Prague, he said that after exiting the airport, in handcuffs, he was designed to ride on “a dark SUV with” tinted windows “.

He said in the announcement that sitting in the car, both US authorities asked him to sign a form, stating that he did not need a lawyer to question them for Americans, which he refused. However, earlier, he had printed his name “a piece of paper that he could not read, or it could not be read”.
He said, “Task Force Officer Sandobal did not give me the necessary time to read the document, and so I printed my name without knowing what the document said,” he said, he was later asked to sign a form.
Gupta said, “I asked what was the form, and the task force officer Sandobbal told me in a brief and substance that the form said that I did not need a lawyer to question the Americans. I refused to sign my name and did not write anything on the paper,” Gupta said.
Earlier, the Indian National Located in the jail had presented a signed letter to a federal New York Judge, demanding to dismiss his prosecution, which was later withdrawn as his lawyer informed the court that the filing was “unknowingly”.

On 29 May, the court received a letter from Gupta, asking the judge to throw the allegations against him and leave him on bail immediately. However, a day later, his rescue presented a letter stating that Gupta did not wish to move forward with a self-filled proposal, which was accepted by the court.
