To increase the Pahalgam attack, India Block, 'Charges' on Trump's claims, Bihar Sir in Parliament | Bharat News

The India Block parties on Saturday pledged to extend the issues of not bringing justice to the Pahlgam attack terrorists during the monsoon session of Parliament, US President Donald Trump’s repeated claims to broker of ‘ceasefire’ during the enmity of India-Pakistan and special intensive amendment to alternative rolls in Bihar said that protests threatened the voting rights of the people.

Next to the monsoon session starting on July 21, leaders of 24 opposition parties of the block held an online meeting, where they decided to raise eight major issues like foreign policy “failure” and “atrocities” in Gaza, SC/STS, “targeting” of women and minorities in the country.

Addressing the media after the meeting, the Congress Deputy Leader, Pramod Tiwari said that the opposition parties would be hoping that the Prime Minister would appear in Parliament and respond to the issues raised on the floor of the House, saying “Parliament is more important than traveling abroad”.

He also said that an in-tradition meeting of block leaders would be “soon” after today’s “successful and cordial” online meeting.

Opposition groups have not been met for a long time. In particular, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), who is the founding member of the block, decided to exit Saturday’s online meeting, as it was announced that it is no longer part of the block.
Incidentally, several senior leaders of the group, including West Bengal and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister – Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin – were not present in the meeting.

Among those who participated, Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi, former party chief Rahul Gandhi, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemen Soren, NCP (SP) ‘S. Tejashvi Yadav (RJD), Ram Gopal Yadav (SP), Tiruchi Shiva (DMK) CPI-M, D Raja (CPI), CPI (ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, among others.

According to Tiwari, the leaders expressed serious concern over the “inaction” of the government to just justice about the terrorists and its “silence” about the Pahgam attack on repeated claims made by US President Donald Trump about a ‘ceasefire’ on enmity between India and Pakistan.

He said, “We discussed the strategy of how we should increase the atrocities and failures of this government that is impressing people. I am happy to inform that all the 24 parties leaders attended the meeting,” he said.

“Eight major issues are taken prominently by us. Apart from these, many regional and people’s issues will also be taken by the opposition,” Tiwari also said.

On the initiative attack, he said, this is the biggest issue that worries about 140 crore people and is associated with respect for all.
“All the leaders have expressed concern that all the terrorists behind the attack are independent and no action has been taken against them despite so many days since April 22. Now, an admission has also come that it was an intelligence failure. So it will be raised,” the Congress leader said.

Tiwari said that the parties would increase the issue of Operation Sindoor and ceasefire and the claims of US President Trump made 24 times that they used the trade threat to explained the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

The leaders also expressed concern over the special intensive amendment of the electoral rolls in Bihar that “the voting rights of the people in the state are threatened”, he said.

He said, “There is a threat to the voting rights of the people under the ‘unannounced emergency’ prevalent in the country,” he said.

The Congress leader also said, “The way the vote-band is being done in Bihar after the note-band is against democracy.”

Tiwari also said that the leaders expressed concern over India’s foreign policy, claiming that it is the Prime Minister who is accountable to all in the country.

He said that some leaders raised the issue of delimitation and “atrocities” against SC, ST, women and minorities.
“We have also decided that soon an India block meeting will be held in the person,” he said that today’s online meeting was “very cordial and raised the concerns of 140 million people of the country”.

“We want Parliament to work so that we can increase issues and government answers,” he said.

Tiwari also said that some other issues, such as the Ahmedabad plane crash, are also likely to be raised.

Sources close to Banerjee said that they raised the issue of head in Bihar, alleging that the BJP and the Election Commission are using it as “backdoor NRC”. He said that the BJP is using “E Square” (E2) in its attack – “Ed for opposition leaders and EC for voters”.

The India Block parties discussed the issues to reach a consensus on the issues that they raised the government in the corner during the monsoon session of the Parliament starting on July 21 and conveyed the message of unity.

Leaders of 24 political parties including Congress, TMC, DMK, RJD, SP, NCP-SP, Shiv Sena (UBT), JMM, CPI-M, CPI, CPI-ML, Forward Block, IUML and Kerala Congress participated in the discussion.

Tiwari, when asked about the absence of AAP, raised the question saying that leaders of 24 parties were present in today’s meeting. He also did not answer questions on the issue of Enforcement Directorate action against Robert Vadra and will the Congress raise the issue in Parliament.

Pushing Justice Yashwant Verma to impeach, which is entangled in a line after the discovery of burnt wads of currency notes at his residence after the fire incident, will also be picked up during the upcoming session.

Last December, opposition MPs presented an impeachment notice in the Rajya Sabha against Justice Shekhar Yadav to make a hate speech at a meeting last year. Some opposition parties are demanding that the matter be taken.

The Congress has pledged to take issues such as the demand for the restoration of the entire state to Jammu and Kashmir, in addition to the problems of farmers, unemployment and rising prices.
