Tourist Rush, New Hotel, Construction: To assess the 'ability to carry' Uttarakhand cities'. Bharat News

The Uttarakhand government on Tuesday said that the Uttarakhand government has assessed the “ability to carry cities” in the Himalayan state.

The “ability to carry” refers to the number of maximum individuals. A ecosystem or specific area can cause natural resources to degrade or cause significant environmental damage.

A senior official of Uttarakhand government told The Indian Express It “focuses the Chief Minister’s focus on both ecology and economy”, the state government intends to align its development policies with ecology in the hilly state that looks at the heavy influx of tourists, and where construction activities can be ecological can be harmful if it is done in an unplanned way.

“If an AC room has a capacity of 50, but we pack 100 people in it, the AC will not work well. The same principle applies to all urban places – whether it is on cities or roads. Therefore, we are getting the ability of major cities.
