“We have seen that these are friendly tasks. To implement criminal laws, stakeholders need to work in coordination and benefit the common people. I urge all of you to cooperate with each other,” CM Saha said a workshop on new criminal laws and NDPS Acts’ organized for legal doctors, police, and administrative officials.

“I think this workshop is a step in this direction. Awareness is very important. People do not know about it. But every person should know these laws, and for this, I think, awareness campaign should be strictly done,” he said.

“These laws reflect a victim-friendly, technology-driven and time-to-time approach to justice distribution … FIR (first information report) can be told about the victims anywhere, any part of the country, or without being physically present in the police station across the state, and despite the jurisdiction, despite the jurisdiction.”
