Uttarkashi helicopter crash update: A preliminary report was released on Saturday while going to Gangotri Dham from the aircraft accident investigation bureau (AAIB) on Saturday after a helicopter along with seven people. The accident occurred on 8 May near Ganganani in Uttarkashi.

While further investigation is ongoing, the AAIB said the helicopter’s chief rotor blade hit an overhead fiber cable parallel to the road, causing an accident.

Six people, including the pilot, were killed in an accident, while one of the passengers suffered serious injuries.
