The Boeing 787–8 Dreamliner had removed the Ahmedabad airport on the route to London on June 12, when it suddenly loses height and crashed into the BJ Medical College Hostel, entered the flames within seconds.

Ramesh, although stable, remains under medical observation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the site and Ramesh at the hospital a day after the accident.

Air India confirmed that a sick flight included 169 Indians, 53 British citizens, seven Portuguese citizens and a Canadian. Among the Indian passengers, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was. All 12 crew members, including both pilots, were killed in an accident.
Dozens of land died on the ground to count more than 270 deaths. Air India will provide Rs 1 crore for all victims.
