Which states have the highest number of Amrit Bharat trains, which are originated with stations?
With the launch of four new Amrit Bharat Express trains on July 18 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar has emerged as a state with the highest number of original stations for these trains – now a total of five.
These trains 15557/15558 Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal, 11015/11016 Saharsa to Mumbai Limited, 22361/22362 Rajendra Nagar Terminal (Patna) from New Delhi, 15561/15562 to Gomti Nagar (Luck) and 15562. To Anand Vihar Terminal.
Of these, train number 15557/15558 Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal was inaugurated in 2023 and other trains running between Saharsa and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai were launched on 24 April 2025 on 11015/11016.

Apart from these, West Bengal is the original point for two Amrit Bharat Express trains – 13433/13434 Malda Town to Smvet Bengaluru and 13435/13436. Both these trains are being operated and maintained by the Eastern Railway (ER) region.
Amrit Bharat Train: Motion, Production
Developed by Chennai -based Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Amrit Bharat Train is designed to run at a maximum speed of 130 kmph (KMPH). The Ministry of Railways has increased the production of Amrit Bharat Express trains in the country. It has targeted the construction of 100 and Amrit Bharat Rakes for the benefit of middle class and economically weaker sections.
