A few days after a part of the students, it was alleged that fake fee cards were provided during admission to a government -run college in Tripura, on Wednesday, newly appointed Higher Education Minister Kishore Burman said that a team was formed to investigate the matter and warned that no one would be found guilty.
He said, “The issue was brought to the attention of the Director and Secretary of Higher Education. A team was formed to investigate the matter, and a report was sought. Anyone was found guilty of fraud activities using a fake fee card,” he said that he was asked reporters during Maharaja Bir Bikram University (MBBU).
The allegation was made by some students of Ramthakur College in West Tripura district, where fake fee card was used during undergraduate admission this year.
“After taking over as the Minister of Higher Education, I held a review meeting at the state level. After the meeting, the decision to visit all universities under the Higher Education Department or the State Government was made to progress their current status, their facilities, their problems and the implementation of national education policy, and required the necessary infrastructure for the criteria,” said the required infrastructure, “said the barman.
Burman took stock of the infrastructure at the university and later interacted with MBB University officials and students, named the state’s last ruler, Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Debarma. During the conversation, students and faculties emphasized methods to improve the quality of the institute through state -of -the -art facilities.
The minister said that as part of strengthening the university, there are plans to bring additional colleges, currently under Tripura University (Central University) under MBB University. He said that the government will also implement the decisions taken in the budget to develop the institute.
The minister said that he also planned to visit private educational institutions to assess whether better things can be implemented.
