The Meghalaya Police has recovered a pistol from Indore, who is allegedly belonging to Raj Kushwaha, who is an alleged mastermind, who is accused of hiring men to kill transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi during a later honeymoon with his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi.
Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills Vivek Simim told The Indian Express A pistol was recovered by the Meghalaya police team, which has been camping in Indore for the last few days and is busy fixing the important evidence related to the case.
“The pistol belongs to King Kushwaha,” Simi said.
The police have not yet commented on whether the pistol was registered or where it was obtained. The investigators are also busy looking for a laptop who belonged to Sonam.
The police on Tuesday arrested the eighth accused in the case, Lokendra Singh Tomar, who wanted for the alleged destruction of the evidence. Sonam stayed in her flat, while the police were trying to track her.
